Belo is generally safe and peaceful, everyone is very friendly and you will get to know the locals quickly. You will visit officials upon arrival to make them aware of your presence in Belo. You will have keys to lock the house and each bedroom. Be careful of letting people you don’t know into the house after dark, even though they are probably just being friendly.
