RUDEC volunteers live in the volunteer house, a 15 minute walk from the centre of Belo. There are four available rooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a large dining and living area. There is electricity and running water, but not hot water. Belo occasionally suffers from water shortages or power cuts. There is a garden at the front and paved area with a guava tree at the back of the property.
