RUDEC was registered in February 2006 as a Common Initiative Group (CIG) - a not for profit organization as defined in the 1992 Cooperative Law of Cameroon on Cooperative Societies and Common Initiative Group. For more information on what the law governing a CIG is in Cameroon, please feel free to read this legal document from the Cameroonian government.RUDEC-Cameroon in December 2011 was upgrated to the status of an Association registered under provision of law N0 90/053 of 19 December 1990 and law N0 99/ 014 of 22nd December 1999 to govern associations and non governmental organisations in Cameroon.RUDEC-Cameroon is registered N0 023/ ACK/E.32/ BAPP.
