Eco-Adventure Tourism

arton12_1.jpgAre you the adventurous type? The Bamenda Highlands, one of the most beautiful regions of Cameroon and West Africa, has much to offer including lakes, waterfalls, mountains, traditional villages and friendly local people. You can discover Cameroon in a different way with RUDEC through her tourism project title Cameroon Association for Sustainable Tourism (CAMAST). All surpluses goes into RUDEC projects(link), allowing you to support the local people of this beautiful region. Because RUDEC is a small grassroots organization you know that your money goes straight to those who need it, and not into unnecessary administration costs. RUDEC can offer accommodation and a range of activities tailored to your taste including hikes of all ability levels, waterfalls, traditional dances and song performances, home stays, local site visits and tours of our current community projects, detailed here. Your guide, Joshua, is an experienced local trekker with excellent English and French skills. Prices depend on your activities and length of stay. For more information, please contact us. RUDEC is working on the Cameroon Association for Sustainable Tourism site for all to enjoy the tourism of Cameroon from nature to cultural tours!
